Silver v Gold: At some level we need to be prepared to answer the ""why shouldn't we just use Sage for everything"". In other words we probably have to match Sage's support offering - and then some..

Match their offer - you mean I'd get weekends and holidays off? I'd do upgrades during the clients working hours? Reminds me of the quote (which I've posted else where before) Letting your customers set your standards is a dangerous game because the race to the bottom is pretty easy to win. Setting your own standards - and living up to them - is a better way to profit. Not to mention a better way to make your day worth all the effort you put into it. (Seth Godin)

I'm not sure I get Seth - my customers who ask for a better option pay about 5 to 10 times more for that standard.

That's what Seth is saying too...you've set your own standards at what ""better option"" means...and you are enjoying the benefits of your standards.
