@Doug Higgs IIRC the answer in the past has been: The client tech will install expensive parts as printed or handwritten on the "Work Order". Sometimes when the customer is invoiced for parts and labor, the customer will question if the invoice is correct. When the customer looks at their own signed (by a customer employee) copy of the "Work Order", and it matches the invoice, they will pay the invoice.
But, I will ask to see if this is still necessary, or if there are other reasons for a "signed" customer copy.

Ask the end user why the customer needs a copy with thier own signature on it. use multi-part with a laser printer. Have the customer sign the "office copy" and give the customer the "customer copy".

Sorta related to @Karen O'Lane question about signature capture. I have a client that still uses a dot matrix printer (Okidata - remember?) to print "Work Orders" a re-named Sales Order in SO. They print on a carbon-less two-part graphical form. When the client's installation tech completes the job at the customer site, the customer signs the top form. The signed top form goes back to the office for invoicing and the customer gets the second copy (also signed) for his records. Anyone know of a way to quit using the dot matrix printer? Is there such a thing as two-part form using a laser or inkjet printer?

We use Pandadoc internally. There are ways to tie that to Sage 100, although we haven't completed that piece yet. It does allow electornic signature capture. Is this something we think the market could use? We have been slowly working on the development of the connector but if it has a use case out side of our own, perhaps we resell that.
