I try to have sympathy towards those with hands-on responsibilities using poor quality tools chosen by Sage management. Judging by what we see, the Sage KB software must be horrible to work with from the inside too.
Whether the recent changes end up being positive in the long run... for me the jury is still out.

When Sage did this many/most of the articles also had their "last updated" set to whatever day the KB was updated. This makes it difficult to learn at-a-glance whether the article has new information. Since Sage often won't reference a version number it's also difficult to judge whether an article is old or new info based on the last updated date. Clearly, the people in charge of the KB have never used one.
