Sage 100

Suggestions for shipping the same order from three different warehouses simultaneously?  One order going to same ship-to but being fulfilled from stock with SO lines using three different warehouses.   Shipping Data entry will not allow the same order to be entered from different workstations at the same time.  Will StarShip allow this?

I believe this is a multi-bin issue:  either Scanco or DSD multi-bin.  I believe if picking is set up as either wave  or zone then multiple pickers are picking the same order simultaneously.    The same order is transmitted to shipping from different mobile devices and the order should be in the same shipping batch.

I have the same issue Kevin! The issue is really with Sage not allowing multi invoices for one SO with out posting first.

We had Starship write an enhancement for a client about 8 years ago that allows multiple warehouse lines on the same order and only shows the lines for each warehouse in the Starship screens.  We have had some issues off and on with the BOI writeback to Sage that we're sure are related to this enhancement but Starship has never been able to figure them out.  This client ships about 500 orders every day and the errors are infrequent but they do happen.  I believe Starship offers enhancement this as an available feature now.

We also had to create a pick sheet outside of Sage and use Alerts & Workflow to send it to each warehouse with only their lines showing.  It was quite a bit of work for something that seems like it should be available out of the box.

So Bernie you are saying StarShip updates Sage - one invoice all the tracking no's? What happens when the whse ships different ways ,different carriers? I am also assuming they are manually entering it through shipping data entry?

They use the Starship client exclusively, no shipping data entry.  Starship also send the shipping notification e-mail with tracking info for each shipment so I'm not sure what ends up on in Sage when they use different carriers.  I will check and circle back with the post on that.

Quick follow up on this - the Starship client writes the tracking numbers from each warehouse back to a single Sage invoice separated by commas.  It does not send the ship via, that remains as it was on the original sales order.
