Ship/Exp Date field from Sales Order does not appear on Sales Order History screen and I does not appear to be in the file. Also can't add it as a UDF because SO Entity not an option. Has anyone had a solution for this?

Beth, in the Sales Order History Detail file there is the Promise Date which is the Promise Date from the Sales Order Detail file. This promise date defaults from the Ship Date in the Header file. I don't know if this helps you.

@KimAndersen - thanks, but this client is using the Ship Date for a Schedule Date, and it can be different than the Promise Date on the lines, darn it. :-(

I think I ended up putting a UDF for the extra date.

@Jeff - how? Sales Order isn't an entity for Sales Order History.

Mmmmm. Will have to check. Maybe I am being a turkey. But off the top of my head, aren't SO UDF's automatically created in the SO History table?

@jeff - this isn't a UDF. It's the standard Ship/Exp Date, but it's not in the SO HIstory Header file.

True, there is no date field in SO history. That is why I created a UDF in SO header for this value and it flows to the SO History header.....

@jeff - Oh, I get it - so I'll only have it going forward. Hey, I guess it's better than nothing.

OH, but I'm going to need some scripting to fill the field. Can't auto fill it using just UDF creation.

@BethBowers - Not sure. Let me know if the auto fill works. Otherwise, the script will be the way.....
