  • 1.  Ship Complete Y/N? prompt not popping up

    Sage100 Advanced 2016. I suspect this has been going on for sometime but the issue just came up. The "Do you want to ship the complete Sales Order" question is not even popping up when doing SO Invoice Data entry. Qty shipped is defaulting to zero and there is nowhere that i am aware that i can change that. There is one Sage KB that says this is a DSD Multi Bin issue. This customer is using Scanco MB. I suspect that is where the problem is but before I open a support ticket with Scanco, I thought I would ask here. TIA

    Unlikely scenario but a carefully placed script on the Invoice Header is capable of setting the Ship Complete flag to NO or YES at that point, which will then suppress the "Do you want to ship complete" prompt when you click on Lines. Any chance you have such a script in place

    @Kenny Daniel - that is actually a MB option - just ran into this with an upgrade yesterday, but I don't have MB on my machine or access to client's so I can't tell you exactly which option it is.  I found it via the KB at Scanco, though.​

    @Alnoor Cassim couldn’t find any scripts that might be causing this. But thanks for the suggestion. @Beth Bowers thank you. I have contacted scanco support prior to seeing your reply. Haven’t heard back from them yet but I will look in their KB.

    I know if they are using Shipping Data Entry it is in the Work Ticket Class setup.

    @Michele Herzog They don't use PM. I found the option in BM where you can suppress or show this prompt depending on how you want to automatically allocate to the Bin locations. Thanks everyone.​
