    Setting up Sage Payment Solutions for a customer who is moving away from PC charge. They have on CC swipe machine and I don't know what to do with it...how do we update it to work with SPS?

    Is the swipe integrated to Sage or is it a standalone? If standalone you probably need to get an SPS one. In Sage 100 2013 swipe is going to be integrated into Sage software.

    It's a standalone machine. Does SPS only work with hardware provided to Sage? I haven't dealt wtih this yet...

    i don't know about the standalone machines - best bet is to call Sage and see if it can either be reprogrammed or new one(s) acquired. Should be something SPS went through with the customer I'd think?

    I was told a couple years back that the stand alone swipes can be reprogrammed very easily by SPS.

    Sage Payment solutioins will reprogram credit card machines at no cost....but they would have to apply for another MID for each machine

    Apparently SPS will re-program stand-alone credit card machines but not integrated swipers.
