Session: Best Practice Improvements I'm looking forward to a dialogue about the best practice improvements but I'm coming up short on names to consider for the panel. I would like to pull together some names for consideration (diversity, breadth, etc.) before simply printing name tents. Can this group respond with some nominations? If we come up short, I can go to the general group outside of this committee. TIA.

Yes, @JohnHoyt - these are the internal process changes or decisions that our members have made to improve their own organization.

I definitely think @JerryNorman should be on the panel.

I can do the same schtick as last year. But frankly, the past 7 months have been not inspiring. ,lost a big customer to politics, and we have a 2nd large one which is apparently in a legal showdown with Sage. (#$%^& HRMS). I'd much more interested in anybody who's been able to use 1099's as part of projects, implemented some elements of inbound marketing, handled implementation challenges of diversified products, like acumatica. John, you've had interesting challenges with Acumatica. I suspect you've had to tune up your processes, no?

I have lots of challenges, including being part of a CPA firm. (Upon meeting Ed Kless many years ago, I introduced myself and said I worked for a CPA firm. His immediate response: ""I'm sorry."") I have many ideas of how to improve our processes with some in process, so I imagine by late February we'll have some results.

John Hoyt, Mark Chinsky, Gary Feldman, Brian Kelly, Peter Wolf. Not intentionally excluding anyone but trying to think of who talks the most about non-technical topics. May also help to think of improvements in two categories: (a) Best technology or process change to get new customers and (b) best technology or process change to serve existing or get more revenue from existing.

A survey may uncover more questions members are trying to answer though I bet it's primarily around increasing revenues in a market where Sage 100 might be described as stagnant. A possible hook topic ""how to keep creating revenues after the periodic upgrade is done. Realistically we should all want a topic ""how to turn your customer base into a strong source of predictable recurring revenues"". Perhaps s little mix and match of those ideas.

What about Jeff Roth?

Wayne's list seems a very good start to me.

How about Paul Ziliak? He'd be great on this panel.
