  • 1.  Service keeps stopping after PU6 install

Just installed v2018 Premium PU6 (upgrade from PU2).  Today, the service keeps stopping.  Stays up about 15 minutes then all loose connection and the service stops.  Already rebooted, and behavior continues.  IT did nothing to the server after my installation, Any suggestions?

I have this in my notes about expanding memory when running Sage as a service and do not know why PU6 would cause this.

Great document @Wayne Schulz, my only warning is from November of last year, right when we put the second Go Live company onboard.  None since.  Hmmm.  I've asked them to get their IT involved to monitor.

    Hi

You may want to consider getting everyone out, and stopping the service/application and renaming the sessions.pvk file,  The restart the application in the "configuration" utility to re-create it, and then go back to running it as you were, and see if that makes any difference

Thanks Jeff.  That is what I have done.  Actually, the Sessions.pvk was very large;  31m, and probably the main issue.  For my notes, I renamed the following:  Locate.pvk, Sesions.pvk, SY_Console and SY_Workstation; recreated them through starting through the Application Configuration Utility.  Then stopped the service there and restarted the service.

    all fixed
    Thanks again...
