  • 1.  Serial numbers look like they are on hand and available in Item Inquiry Cost Detail tab but QOH = 0 when DFDM IM_ItemCost

    Riddle me this, Batman.  This is v4.5.  Why does Item Inquiry Cost tab show QOH when DFDM IM_ItemCost  shows 0 OH?  I have rebuilt IM sorts & cleared Qty Committed.  I have also run the Item Balancing Utility + recalculate Item history.  Doesn't Item Inquiry Cost tab view look at IM_ItemCost?  The client was able to Disassemble serial numbers, and now have negative on hand for the S/N.

    Look for multiple records for the same item/serial number in the IM_ItemCost table. I've seen this before where there is a record in IM_ItemCost table with no value in the field TierType and another record with TierType of "6"

    Probably something stuck in the cost calc commit table.  See KB 20946.

    It turned out to be blank tier types, as @David Overholt suggested.  I had looked for them earlier, but didn't search properly the first time around.  Excel query helped me find them.​
