Sent email to Sage events inquiring about the type of space they might offer for Summit. If it's a closed classroom I think we can plan something. If it's open space on the show floor I'm not sure what we would do - maybe offer our affiliates who are also exhibitors a space to present to our members (we'd have to consider the show floor options).
Again, every year we come out of these saying we should have planned further ahead. This is the time to decide.
APS again expressed willingness to sponsor social event, so let's also consider whether we are going to allow sponsors. Last year we decided against it primarily because we felt some duty to those MOTM sponsors whose benefits carried through the year.
Remember that this year we structured MOTM so that it was a standalone event sponsorwise.
Once affiliates left the event we owe them no other benefits throughout the year -- all other options (web, blog, webinar) are structured as a la carte so no fear that we upset one affiliate vs another.
We will also have to consider that if we are in space provided by Sage we would not be able to allow competitive affiliates -- APS, Acumatica, xTuple, SAP, etc --- to participate.
