Seems like I am suddenly being bombarded with faux consulting companies calling to offer:
1. 5 year GSA contract opportunities (talk about cold calling)
2. Masquerading as consultants with ""a client"" who needs"" the software you offer"" which when I reverse search the phone number comes back to a lead generation company.
Last night the leads were the typically vague-ish:
a. 40 person Navision
b. Over 200 person AS 400
I've seen plenty of these in my career working with Sage. The leads are often (but not always) followed by a note ""will buy the software if is does what we want/need"". Guess what - they never know/agree upon what they want/need and you spend 4 days worth of free time learning that hidden factoid...
