Seeing as we have the hotel and several people hav

Seeing as we have the hotel and several people have booked rooms - we should have this MOTM in full gear with people assigned to sessions that they're going to lead, etc. I assume that the preliminary agenda that I posted is what everyone wants to pursue? If so then we need to put people to the sessions and assure there's some type of outline prepared ahead of time. We should also be publicizing this to the core 90 Minds folks and trying to get a head count. As of now I don't think we are inviting any vendors save DSD and maybe Altec.

Do we want to allow Sage some time? I think they will cough up $2,000 or maybe even pay for a dinner? I spoke to Tom Miller last week and he said that he would be able to make that happen. Maybe we invite Tom (or whoever he wants to send down) for a late afternoon slot to talk about the Roadmap and answer questions (we could prepare and submit a list a head of time so none of us are on the hot seat) and then go grab dinner?

Provided they pay in advance -- they're notoriously difficult to get any money out of after-the-fact. My personal opinion is I don't mind if Sage attends though I think they should be paid and in advance. The $2,000 level sounds about right and we should have a clear idea of what type of involvement they want (how much time). Putting them toward the end of the day (3pm ish?) seems like it would help keep the time from going way overboard. Since most of the policy is set already - I'd want to be sure we did not mislead the group to think that the sessions would be changing much at Sage (probably most people already know that). TL;DR: Yes to $2,000; don't care who from Sage attends or for how long provided they don't get a slot that goes all day (put them at the end)

Agreed on the pay up front and let Sage speak. End of the day makes sense. Would we want them to generate a session based on SI also?

Do we invite whoever from Sage to dinner? Do we angle for them picking up the tab or would we rather have the $2 grand?

Invite them - provided the money is paid in advance. We will have a hard time collecting if it's not paid in advance. Q: Will dinner be over $2,000? Let's assume 20 people - my guess is we'd get away with tops $50/ea so we should be covered by that (thinking aloud).

Please take another look at the agenda and comment on whether you think we have the right content. I am starting a new message for that.

I sent a broadcast email to the 90 Minds (members only) group on Socialcast. I think we need to give people time to make airline and hotel reservations. I used $150 for first person and $ 75 for each additional as the fee for the meeting. I don't know if we formally discussed a fee though I think that's approximately what we offered last year (but did not charge anyone because 90 Minds picked up dinner and DSD picked up the room and an event night)

Wayne, I don't see the URL to the Embassy Suite reservation site. Did I overlook it?

As you get older, the fine print gets harder to see. Thanks.
