This is a long shot, but I need to ask.

Upgrading a client from 2017 Advanced to 2021 Advanced.

In the current 2017 version, when printing GL Financial reports, the font size of the GL Account number is smaller and bold. The GL account number is large, and it would seem that the font size in this case was changed in order to have it display completely.

When I print the GL Financials in 2021, all fields and formatting is the same size, and the full GL account cannot be seen.

These are canned reports, not accessible to crystal reports, plus the Library Master > Setup > Report Format Maintenance allows minimal formatting options.

Is there a backdoor to get to these canned reports, does that require access to the source code? Is this something that a master developer can do?

    Thanks

There are several Crystal .rpt files that you can modify.  However, you have to keep in mind that when you make changes, those changes will flow through to all financials that use that particular .rpt file.

Look under the Reports folder.  You'll see 3 different GL_BalanceSheet reports, 9 different FinancialReport reports, 4 different GL_Trend reports and 4 different GL_TrialBalance reports.

Wow, @John Kerr, you really have people using the v3.7x reports?  You might be SOL but maybe @Beth Bowers or @Therese Logeais might be able to pull the rabbit out of your hat....  If not, you might have to set them up on FRx.....

@Mary Jo Krueger Many thanks Mary. I had completely forgotten about those balance sheet, trend and financial reports. I found that all the font customizations were in the 9 financial reports in the source version and was able to replicate them and then schedule their go live.

Thank you , thank you thank you.
