  • 1.  Scanco Warehouse Lot Tracking Help

    Does anyone know Scanco Warehouse, specifically the Lot tracking reports, well enough to assist me? I cannot seem to get a callback from Scanco.

    The client purchased the Scanco addon specifically to get the ability to track lots for FDA live trace capability (food recall type tracing). They are trying to get a report for the auditor and when we choose Vendor Lot Traceability Report or Lot Serial What Used Report we get nothing. 

    I am assuming there is something not setup correctly. 

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    Deja Vu all over again with Scanco?  Seems like they had customer service issues in the mid 2000's.  They promised us at an early MOTM conference that that was all behind them.

    @Jeff Schwenk no.  Up until a few years ago I rarely had contact with Scanco, but over that time it's been difficult getting a response time of less than three days.  It started improving for me a few months ago but I suspect it's because I complained loudly.​

    I think it's something Scanco is working really hard internally to change. I've noticed a big difference with them since Andy stepped in at the helm.  I know they lost some key people and that has been tough for them but I really think they are trying to get things going in the right direction.

    What version of Sage and MB are you on? Has the data been converted recently? I ask because from Sage 2018/2019, the Mb tables were all changed from 404 to 140 so it could be your report isn’t working because it is looking at the wrong tables. Not sure if that applies here but wanted to mention it.

    @Tara Schinkel they are on 2018. I am not sure if it is setup correctly though. Will it hurt to run prepare data again?​

    Doing a prepare data will not hurt (make a backup first) but I don’t think it would fix this issue. The field changes were in 2018 so that is not the issue.

    Did you try running the report out and with it up , go to DFDM to see if the data was in that table? I do that at times when I am troubleshooting Crystal reports issues.
