I'm wondering how this plays out in the long run for Sage 100 clients?

They were actually starting to offer the payment stuff to Sage 100 clients already, so hopefully this means we're still in it.

    Beth,

Yes, Sage is still a very integral part of our business. It represents the overwhelming majority of our client base. While we now support customers in multiple ERPs including Acumatica, NetSuite, Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, and others - we are still investing in our Sage solutions. You will see new and refreshed products for our existing customers in the coming weeks and months. We are launching an enterprise WMS this month for Sage 100. This would compete with what you would typically see larger customers running, such as Korber/Manhattan.

I don't see them rocking the boat in any way for a long time (if at all). They have a massive Sage 100 customer base, so they would be wise to use the cash those customers throw off in renewals to fuel efforts to further diversify. Some of the recent acquisitions are diversification plays within SaaS/cloud-ERP products (similar to how a lot of VARs pick up a cloud ERP product and create migration paths for that legacy base), and it feels like they're re-forging a path with Acumatica. They were at Acumatica Summit last year and will be again this year.

It feels very much like what the VAR community has done (picking up a cloud ERP product), which would be smart on their part. Following the channel based on how the majority trend, leveraging partner experience to understand the gaps, and using Endpoint's experience in the space to build solutions for those systems that make you look like heroes to those partners... pretty safe play to break into new markets. It also doesn't hurt that a lot of the Sage 100 VARs picked up Acumatica, so a potential "migration" path for a Sage 100 customer could be to something like Acumatica ... and oh, by the way, there's also a corresponding product offered by Endpoint

All this while doing what you can to take care of the existing base. Like @Beth Bowers mentioned, they started offering payments over a year ago... I believe it's through Nuvei or EBiz... so the Sage 100 base is likely very safe for quite some time, and all these changes are meant to do is keep Endpoint connected to their customers regardless of which ERP system they choose.
