Scanco Multi-Bin / Production Management

    I have a customer that has been getting renewal notices from Scanco for multi-bin and production management.  They are on Sage 100 version 2019.  They informed me that they haven't paid the renewal notice because they are not able to implement the solution because the version 2019 multi-bin is not available yet.  Is this possible?  Sage 100 version 2019 has been out for a year now.

    That is indeed correct – MB for Production Management is not available yet – I know first hand as I have been working with a client and Scanco monthly and sometimes weekly to see when it will be ready

    Wow.  Not sure why anyone would pay a renewal notice for a product that doesn't exist.

    We have the same problem with Kissinger.  They haven't released a version of their Union Automation enhancement since Sage released the new payroll back in 2018.  They just keep saying  it'll be available Q1 2020.  Ridiculous!

    The job of herding the cats​ ISV's seems to be a revolving door at Sage, so there doesn't seem to be any obvious oversight in terms of compliance with the Sage versions. I consider this to be Sage's responsibility, so perhaps we should be asking them at the end of the month at MOTM.

    Sage ( Collectively about 12 people huddled on stage ) : "Wow, great question. I'm so sorry we didn't bring [ insert name of this month's ISV manager ]. Let us ask when we get back to the office and get back to you"

    It's not fair to the customer when they still have to be on version 2018 and 2020 is about to be released and 2018 is only supported for a few more months.

    ​I find it amusing that ScanForce has released their "Multi-Bin Product" compatible to the new Production Management-MTS Module.  Yes, ScanForce has it available in advance of Scanco.  Well, amusing may not be the correct word... :(

    Who at Sage is managing this? Shouldn't there be someone with some type of project plan who has ultimate management responsibility for these types of things?
