Yes. The "what's in the bins" is in the IM_140MBItemLocationQuantity table. I was thinking of freezing all the inventory and then updating the physical count with all of the quantities at 0.. then importing the relavant IM_140MBItemLocationQuantity fields to the IM_140MBPhysical table (Physical count). Do you think doing a bin transfer is a better idea? If so, do you know what table(s) to use for a bin transfer?

I am not sure what the bin transfer process is like. Upload the new bins, figure out what is in those bins, then import via the bin transfer program. Serial numbers really make a mess of things

Yes. They want to change the names of 250 or so locations. Most locations contain serialized inventory items. I am thinking I may have to export all of the inventory detail to Excel, do a physical count to get all of the quantities to 0, create the new locations, then import the quantities into physical count or transaction entry to the new location. I am hoping there may be another more efficient way.

Do you mean bin location is defined as 123456 and you now want to call the same physical location Doug24?
