I'm sorry, just too swamped to try to go figure this out, if someone knows off the top of their head.  

Scanco Multibin - can you prevent someone from using a bin for a period of time without deleting the bin?  As in not be able to use it for ANYTHING - shipping, receiving, transferring, production - NOTHING.

Then you have to modify the Security tab of Roles and uncheck these two items depending on how you want it to behave.

I found that this works well for transactions where you would be relieving inventory as you will get a message saying it is restricted until whatever the date is and you have no pick rights. For transactions where you are adding inventory, although the bin did not appear in the lookup, i was able to key it in and it was not validated or enforced that the bin was restricted.
