  • 1.  Scanco Cloud Service unavailable at year end

    I had a client on Scanco Warehouse that was unable to complete their year end physical count because the Scanco servers were frequently unavailable. Did anyone else have any Scanco end users experiencing the same sort of issues at year end or for that matter any other times?

    We have two clients using it.  One has issues a few years ago, but none this year from what we've heard.

    A line from the Sage playbook.  And of course they did not have any off hours support available.......  Which if you are running a cloud, someone should be available at any hour.  Sure it might cost more, but not everyone only works 8-5 any more.

    I have a client using Scanco who is 24x7 and not experienced times when the server wasn't available. They've been on it a few years.

    @Madeline Stefanou Jeff is right. But I did double check. They paid extra to get a dedicated server in the Scanco Cloud. I’m not sure if that adds to their fortune.
