SAP SMB Innovation Summit Just concluded in Fort Lauderdale. I think that the last gap with Sage 100 will have been closed with the upcoming release of SAP B1. This release includes a complete RMA module as well as completing the production routing capabilities and expanding the work done on the project management functionality to include all the scheduling charts and functions. All the new features are included in maintenance which is partner managed (so we can control price). In addition to actually developing software the SAP channel managers have all been with the company between 5-20 years and truly support the channel in their efforts. We had 5 meetings with all the departments supporting us from Cloud, development, go to market team, support and regional team.

Yes. It's hard to believe, but indeed SAP is the most channel friendly company of the major brands out there. You would think just the opposite based on size, but they are doing something right.

They are not only giving MDF, but now are funding business development (100% for specific programs) and have a ""Commercial Sales"" team who are actually going out generating leads and delivering them to the B1 channel for the first time in a long time.
