I can't share exact numbers from the recent partner call, but Q3 and 2015 as a whole are totally off the charts for SAP B1. New adds for the quarter were approximately 1,050 which I beleive was bout 3x as many as Netsuite. Also 75% of the channel added at least one new deal which is also a crazy high statistic when compared to the competition.
I don't drink all the Kool-Aid, but the new SAP Anywhere also sounds like it will have much more impact than the Sage Live tactic. Also geared at the lowest end of the addressable, market, SAP Anywhere will be an SAP hosted front end solution geared to offer POS, eCommerce and CRM functionality. The best part of the announcement is that it will also feed into SAP B1.
I am constantly amazed at how bad SAP is at marketing and hype when compared to NetSuite and Acumatica. Many of the offerings, like SAP Anywhere and Sage Live, are made before the products are ready for prime time, but in this case I am betting that SAP will have something of value in 2016!
