One thing to note about new feature is that they did expand the size of the field EMailVerbiage. It is set to 7168 (prior to this it was 4096) for the E-Mail Verbiage which is about 65 Lines W/60 Char. If you have any responsive email you will go through this size quickly. If you keep it basic like the sample above, you will be fine for most of what you will use it for through paperless. This limitation is why we created our
Paperless HTML Email Advanced product. It doesn't have a limitation of the size based on the database, it is only limited by the file size of the OS (4GB to 16 ExaBytes). While It would be crazy to send a 4GB email, you can still blow past the limit. The
example we show for the enhancement is about 35k and is dynamic for Mobile, Outlook, Apple, Etc. Sage's new feature doesn't allow access to the HTML code, unless you use DFDM and paste it in the field. This means you are limited to only what the basic editor will allow which is very basic. No tables, DIVs or CSS can be entered. It is much better than what was available before and will be great for most customers wanting to make the emails look better. For those who need more, we got you covered.
I didn't see the demo but is the extra attachment only available when you send the email from the paperless viewer? That was the only place I saw that an additional attachment could be added.
