Salesperson commission report - no salesperson select field (version 4.5 mas 200). We still have the Invoice date and Customer number selections, but no salesperson. Track Commissions box is checked in AR, this is for all companies, the select field was there is 4.4, tried resetting panel - totally confused on this one??? Any thoughts/suggestions?

Hmm, do you see the salesperson field in Customer Maintenance? Is it just this report or is the salesperson option somehow messed up? Have you gone into Salesperson Maintenance and verified they are still there? Just reaching here...

yes, went through a few setup areas and can't see anything out of place - salesperon table is still populated.

Any mods/3rd party apps?

many - Kissinger EDI, several DSD enhancements, but nothing that should be changing AR reports. I could mess around with the links folder and see what happens without enhancements, I was just hoping that maybe someone had seen this issue.

How about the Customer Sales Analysis report - does that have the Salesperson select option?

Wow, this IS a strange one. Is this a recent upgrade? What product update is it? Anything odd during conversion, update utilities, anything?? If you look at installed apps, are they all at the same level? Again, just reaching...

Recent upgrade and everything went smoothly, PU3 (one of the enhancements wasn't ready for PU4 yet) - I'll have to dig deeper - thanks Therese!

Maybe try a re-set panel in case something modified that panel?

If that doesn't work - try backing up the AR/AR_SalespersonCommission.M4L panel and then copying one from a working 4.50 system to your target system.

thanks - tried the panel reset so we'll try replacing AR_SalespersonCommission.M4L and see if that does the trick

When I have an unusual issue like this, I run the report and while it is still open on the screen via preview, I go into DFDM and look at the temp table driving the report. That way I know if it is the report or data driving the problem. Then I start digging from there. At least you have a point to start from.
