  • 1.  Sales Order Tab Positions / Cursor Control

    During sales order entry, the customer would like the cursor to always start in the customer  number field, not on the Header, tab 1.  Also, the last field for the tab positions will be Job No.  If the cursor is in the job number field and the user hits the tab key they would like the cursor to move to the first field in the Lines tab, tab 3.  Is any of this possible using Custom Office?

    Re: the Customer # field, go into the Tab Definitions screen for DMain and remove the "Folder" item from the Tab Sequence list on left.
    corr:  Actually it now appears that removing the 'Folder' item from the tab sequence messes things up, e.g. now can't seem to tab out of customer # field without specifying a customer, and upon specifying a customer it then automatically goes to the Address tab - so it appears you might have to play around with it, if it's really feasible via standard CO.

    For your other question re: the job # field, I believe that would require a Script.​​
