  • 1.  Sales Order from Repeating Order and then customer/tax schedule changed causes out of balance order.

Customer upgraded to 2020.1.  They were using Copy Sales Orders in v5.20, we have now moved them to Repeating Orders.  Their process is to create a new sales order (next number) from the repeating order.  They then change the customer, which changes the tax schedule and answer Yes to recalc pricing.  They go to the lines tab, and make changes either removing lines, changing quantities, etc.
Sometimes (not always), the totals tab then shows the wrong amount and wrong tax and it causes an Out of Balance.
We have tried running the Sales Tax Calculation in AR Utilities and things were good for a week.  They've started back up again.  They have about 10 Repeating Orders, and they haven't tracked if always the same Original Repeating Order.  The owner feels it's a GA to FL tax schedule change but isn't 100% sure on that.  I ran the sales tax calc again yesterday and the Out of Balance started up again right away.
They are currently going into Tax Detail, highlighting each line and hitting the reset row button, then do a Recalc Pricing and it all recalcs.  They are willing to do this short term but not for very long.
Is this a known issue?  Or is there any fix?
    Thanks
    N

If you change the tax schedule to something else and then change it back to the correct schedule, does it fix the tax?

We've been working with Sage on a bad SO Totals issue.
    See the Sage City thread.
