  • 1.  Sales Order 2018 SP 6

    Have a client on Sage 100C Advanced 2018 SP 6 and intermittently users find that when they change data in a field (standard Sage fields or UDF'S ) the change is not saved.  This does not happen all the time and it happens to multiple users. The example I was given is that they changes a customer PO number then did a quick print and said yes to save the order. On the printed order the change does not appear and when they go back into the order the change is not there. Any idea what would cause the change not to be saved? They have Sage CRM and it happens to orders that are not imported. Any ideas would be helpful.

    Do they have Kaspersky AV by any chance?  One of my customers had something similar a few years ago and it turned out to be Kaspersky real-time AV scanning.

    Maybe try turning off screen modifications (*ESC) to see if that has any impact, although that could be tough if it doesn't happen all the time. I wonder if they're periodically losing their network connection.
