@SageCRM @Sage100Routine @Sage100UrgentSupportNeeded @Sage300Technical *********IMPORTANT MOTM 2014 UPDATE**************************** The admin team is working hard on the preparations for the BEST EVER MOTM Conference. Attached is the latest in suggested agenda topics. We gleamed these ideas from your conference suggestions plus a brainstorming session of our own. Please take a look and let us know what you think. But in the meantime, here is what we think. Due to the expanded two track (Business/Technical) sessions, we NEED some more topics. You will note that some of these topics are a bit redundant. Give us more of your ideas!!!!!! The second thing that we think is that we NEED volunteers to head up / lead / moderate / create the details for these sessions. Like it or not, the six people the admin CANNOT do it all (We actually have day jobs). For us to keep the conference cost to a minimum, we need volunteers to help out. The collaboration of the group is the KEY to our success and we really need assistance with this. What do you get out of it beside a slap on the back, a hearty handshake and a job well done certificate you may ask? You will have an audience of 30 - 50 attendees and you WILL get phone calls through out the next 12 months (and beyond) asking for your advice and more importantly, your BILLABLE assistance. A win win situation for all! If you have a topic to suggestion, post it here or let any of the admin team know about your idea (@JimWoodhead , @ThereseLogeais , @RobertWood , @PeterWolf , @WayneSchulz or @JeffSchwenk . FINALLY, the spots for the conference are limited. Members of the SocialCast group will have until 12/13/13 to register for the conference (@250/person). After that, registration is open to any guest of a 90Minds member company) for $500 per person AND to any vendor sponsor wanting to bring their staff for $750 per person. The final day for any registration will be 1/14/14!! To enroll, click on the link below. http://www.eventbrite.com/e/90-minds-meeting-of-the-minds-2014-registration-9302501031 Use MOTM2014 as your password. Thanks in advance. Have a great Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The attached PDF is the FINAL OFFICIAL meeting agenda update as of 1/13/14

Thanks for sharing our agenda topics (so far!) Jeff. For a bit cleaner list, I am attaching a later version. One other note - registration closes 1/14 (assuming we haven't reached our limit before then) but get registered before 12/13 to get the lowest rate. And the event password is MOTM2014

If there is interest, I can present information on a web based Kanban tool (LeadnKit.com) and how this can be integrated with Sage 100. This could be presented in about 40 to 50 minutes, This would be an example how to integrate Sage 100 with other applications using Advanced Scripting. Just let me know if there is interest. Thank you, Myron

A little taste of the USS Midway

  • 18.  RE: @SageCRM @Sage100Routine @Sage100UrgentSupportNeed

    Posted 12-23-2013 05:45
The USS Midway was the command ship during the 1991 Gulf War. They've setup the command center on the Midway just as it was the night the coalition air attacks began. It even has CNN. The tour is very worth while. The ship also has a number of different planes on the flight deck.

Thanks @ThereseLogeais and everyone that has helped to put this together including the members that are assisting with the sessions. The agenda looks great and might have a tough time picking what Track per time slot to attend.. Looking forward to seeing everyone !

Hats off to @ThereseLogeais, @JimWoodhead and @PeterWolf for taking the lead in setting up the sessions, the facilities and nightly meals and reaching out to the vendors for sponsorship funding. Believe me when I say there A LOT of AWESOME effort has been spent bringing the meeting to fruition. In addition to their individual effort, the others on the admin team have played vital roles in the conference effort. At times, I wondered if we really HAD a day job supporting our clients. There are only FOUR seats left at the conference table ($500 each). Once these are gone, they are gone. Don't be the FIFTH person to arrive at the table as you WILL miss out on the conference.

I was wondering that too @ThereseLogeais ! Sheesh! Here there are all these accounting sessions I'm going to have to sit through...a little wine would surely have made things more interesting. ;)

I think wine should be available for every session. it is California you know.

    Posted 01-14-2014 08:03
@DebThomas Can I reimburse you for some wines? This way if I advertise I have wine in my session I can pull in some 'What's new' Attendees :)

    Posted 01-14-2014 08:30
LOL @MarkChinsky ! I'll see what I can do about bringing a couple bottles of Oregon Pinot Noir...best in the nation. Though I'm certain we could work out something to have enough wine for your session! There are lots of options :D

  • 32.  RE: @SageCRM @Sage100Routine @Sage100UrgentSupportNeed

    Posted 01-14-2014 09:37
Perhaps we should all send a couple of bottles to Jim Woodhead (he would pinkie swear not to drink any) so we could have a selection of everyone's local favorite. I could send some Well Hung Cab Franc........

    Posted 01-14-2014 09:47
The weather needs to be warmer to ship wine. A client in NY State sent me a bottle and it was destroyed. Remember cold weather is as bad as really hot weather.on wine. If the temps are around 45 to 50 all the way through to delivery, then it's ok. But freezing isn't good. Be better to bring it with you.

  • 34.  RE: @SageCRM @Sage100Routine @Sage100UrgentSupportNeed

    Posted 01-14-2014 10:50
IF I brought it with me, the bottle would be the only thing that came through......

Few things going back to the original post topic: 1) Wasn't there originally going to be a session relating to social media, SEO etc? If so, I'd be happy to be a panel member 2) If its a panel, I'd be happy to talk about 'grass is greener' given we carry 4+ products, 2 added in the last few years. 3) If we are still looking for topics or tracks, I'd be happy to fully research this Anchorworks solution that I want us 90minds members to use and potentially offer to our clients for some recurring profits and brand identity for all of us https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeaaKCtHXzk

Yea it basically combines dropbox, box.net, sugarsync, yousendit & carbonite into one solution with high levels of encryption and centralized management and control with a markup opportunity and the ability to co-brand it.

For that you'll need the next generation Google/Nest product :)

  • 40.  RE: @SageCRM @Sage100Routine @Sage100UrgentSupportNeed

    Posted 01-14-2014 12:23
Mark - Don't hold your breath for a Google/Nest product to make your coffee. Such a product will find it hard to compete with even the grande servings at the local coffee shop.
