@Sage100Routine @SageCRM @Sage100UrgentSupportNeeded Not sure how to react to this - Odd, interesting or sad that a third party developer offers a better integration between Sage CRM and Sage 100???? The CRM export supporting my handful of clients using CRM is recommending it. Do any CRM resellers care to comment on this observation? Does Sage 300 have these issues?

Urgent support has a new meaning! I will be discussing this in detail in the Meeting of the Minds session. I don't necessarily see a problem here. Most competitive CRM solutions rely on third party integrations ... If they even have integration at all. Salesforce doesn't have a single ""home grown"" integration to accounting systems and yet somehow they sell billions of it every year. For most companies, accounting integration is a nice to have feature - the real need is the core CRM functionality to better track and manage sales, marketing, and customer service. The reason this is an issue that hangs up the Sage channel is because Sage only markets Sage CRM as the integrated solution. If they improved the positioning statement, it wouldn't be such a hot button for us all. Case in point, I've been told by friends that resell MS CRM that the MS integration is also a bit rough. It doesn't stop them from selling it though because that isn't their lead story.

Yet customers will license Sage CRM over other options simply because it is (natively) integrated. And because they are looking at the true reasons for having a CRM, as you mentioned @PeterWolf , the extent of the integration is not that important as long as it is supported by Sage. This is also a reason customers have decided on Endorsed solutions over alternatives that may be better. The perception is If they are endorsed by Sage, they must be better. It works for me, but I always point out the alternatives and let them decide. My exception is shipping. I simply tell them StarShip has a better track record, we have many clients on it, and we can support it more easily.

We had GUMU people install our NFR. They were great. Integration is full featured. Recommend attending webinar and take advantage of their internal use offer. We would only recommend GUMU for integration. Ask Clark and Barbara at MOTM.

The 300 integration is different, however if you have a large number of SKU's or customers (> 14,000) you will experience some performance issues. The SO integration is vastly different. Looking forward to Peter's discussion in San Diego.
