So can a SAGE 100 V2014 system just upgrade to CRM 7.3?

The silence is deafening. I am GUESSING that since v2015 has an alternative two character country code field that Sage really doesn't want to mix 7.3 with v2014 nor 7.2 with v2015. Hard to tell. maybe there will be an answer in two weeks...

I have a v2014 customer that I recently upgraded to CRM 7.3 (from 7.2d). And yes, they're integrated and all is working well (except known bugs).

v2015 with CRM 7.2g was listed on the Supported Platform Matrix. When we requested a copy of Patch G for CRM from Sage they back peddled and literally said ""We have sent various inquiries"". I took this to mean, somebody was supposed to update for v2014 and never finished it. Definitely looks like it was planned. We also receive instructions that we could upgrade to v2015 and just leave CRM with the v2014 integration pieces. Or, if the client's SQL Server doesn't support v7.3 you could also just run v7.2 with v2015. Yeah... that doesn't work. The integration engine runs, but you can't launch Sage 100 screens from within CRM. This all went down in the middle of June around here. It is amusing, to me, that we have Sage telling us via email that it's fine to run when they clearly never even tested it. I think that right hand not knowing what the left is doing applies here.
