Hi All.
A number of years ago, one of our clients tried putting SSD's in their server, instead of SAS 10K or 15K drives in a raid array.
Relatively quickly they ran into problems with the SSD's going "bad" due to all the reading/writing that happens in Sage100. They ended up having to replace the SSD's with rotational drives, and the problems went away immediately.
Forward to today - a different client is asking if they should get SSD's in their new server for reliability and performance. It is a dell server, and the SSD's are available "mixed-use" "write-intensive" and "read-intensive"
Does anyone have any specific experience with SSD's in a server for Sage100 advanced, and if so, can advise on the experience and the spec's on the drives ?
Thanks in advance
