Sage100 2015 Advanced. One workstation keeps getting ""The Credit Card Transaction request to Sage Exchange cannot be processed"" when trying to authorize credit cards. Per 1 KB article I found, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Sage Exchange both on the server and and the workstation, restarted the server, removed AntiVirus, deleted all Sage folders and uninstalled and reinstalled Sage100, but nothing works. Sage Exchange does load and the icon is in the Task Bar but the error persists. 7 other users are NOT experiencing this problem and can authorize cards with no problem. TIA

Have you gone into Company Maintenance / Credit Cards tab and checked the Activate Debugging Log box? I believe it's stored in \mas90\Home as CCP_Tran.log. It might help. Note it will log for everyone. On the Sage Exchange icon if you rt-click there is a Tracking / View Log option as well. Sounds like there may be 3rd party internet security software installed on this particular PC.

Thanks @AlnoorCassim but neither of the logs is recording anything for this workstation. I turned on the Activate Debugging on the Server as well as the logs on the Workstation. Neither has anything in them after I try to run a CC transaction. The error message pops up right away, it doesn't even try to communicate with Sage Exchange or write anything to the logs. I doubt Sage Payments support will be of any help. I'm tempted to reformat the PC and start fresh.

Thanks Wayne. The problem is on one workstation only so I don't think it's anything on the server. I turned off the windows firewall on the pc but that did not help either.

WAG - can any of those other successful users move over to this troubled workstation, login as themselves through WINDOWS and authorize a card?

I'll try that Wayne, but I logged on as myself and as the network administrator and neither worked.

I had a similar issue with a client somewhat recently (it may have been the exact same error), but I was unable to resolve it after trying a number of things. I determined that it appeared there was something ""going on"" with the computer (e.g., some corruption somewhere), and that it might just need to be replaced or wiped/upgraded. One thing that I wasn't able to try though was disabling the Windows Firewall on the computer.

I can't say for sure, but shutting down the workstation and restarting it _may_ have helped resolve this issue.

Not really sure how or why but after a few days the issue was resolved all on its own. Maybe it was an issue with the Sage Exchange site or something they did on their end. It just started working again. Weird. Anyway, thank you all for you help.

That may have been the case with my client as well, although the issue was only specific to one workstation. The other thought re: my client was that this may have been caused by loss of internet connection at time of trying to process a credit card, and therefore maybe something got hung up on the workstation, and rebooting maybe fixed it.
