Sage website re-design is live.
As promised in an email yesterday from EVP Marketing Gabie Boko, Sage today have updated their North American website. The link is
http://www.sage.com and since that is also the corporate site I'm guessing you are redirected based on the country of your ISP.
Definitely an improvement. The harsh overuse of dark greens is gone in place of lots of white space and images. The products names are de-emphasized unless a user really drills into the website.
This type of re-design is extremely important because it gives a glimpse into Sage NA product and service priorities.
Clearly Sage One and Sage 50 have received top billing as they are the only accounting packages to appear by name without drilling deeply into the site.
SageERP X3 is grouped with the other Sage ERP products though in a quick overview Sage seems to use pull quotes and other links to guide a visitor to the ERP x3 product should they have no other preference.
The executive page has also been cleaned up and features more candid type photos and folksy background info about each executive.
Overall I think this is an excellent design move for Sage.
