Sage Summit Event: @ThereseLogeais do you want to handle the incoming questions? I think I'm on the distribution list so I've been getting both Patrick and Michelle's question about refunds/transferring people. I sent Patrick a reply with our cancellation policy (cut/paste) from Eventbrite. Now both are asking how much advance notice we need for them to send another attendee from their firm in their place. I want to make sure these questions don't fall through the cracks and that we're not all replying independently - tx

The Michele question is interesting in that she's wanting to transfer it to a non 90 minder and she registered before non 90 minders were allowed to register.

I will. I just got into the office and saw them.

Hmm, the Michelle email disappeared. Odd... Can one of you forward it to me again?

    Never mind, I found it.

So, since he is not a 90 Minds member, should it be an additional $150? Or does the following preclude that? Admission is non-transferable except to another attendee from a 90 Minds member firm.

As my 10th grade English teacher would say, behind the at, @JeffSchwenk. It's in the evite email queue. I'm not sure if you're getting copied on those or not. IF you are, it's probably in your 90 Minds.com email address.

Michele is an associate. We restricted the initial registration to members of 90 Minds Fellows or Associates, they had to be members. She's the only Associate member from SWK. If she's transferring it it should be at the higher rate. Or should she ask for a refund and have the other person register at the higher rate? Or do we just let it go and know we need to make a change for the next event?

Yet another place to be looking for stuff......

Found them in the 90Minds mail box which I look at once a month or so...... We made Michael Pruet wait until it opened up to non members. If Michele wants to transfer to a non member, they should pay the higher rate..

Okay, I will let her know. If she cancels, there is a $250 fee so I don't think she'll want to do that.

@JeffSchwenk a wiser person than me would have their 90 Minds email setup so that it forwards automatically to the email address they actually use if they were going to only check it once a month. I don't remember making Pruet wait? The event was open to Fellows & Associates. The folks we made wait were those who were members of firms that had someone who was a 90 Minds member.

He had an interest in sending one of his employees who is a non-member, whom he eventually DID sign up.

You don't remember making him wait because he sent a note to me at my normal e-mail. I told him he had to wait and see if we opened it to non members. Which he did and we did so he signed up a non member.

Got it! Regardless, I agree, we probably do need to charge her the higher rate. What is normal?

The higher fee is whatever it is now. 75 extra for the one day and 150 for the two day....

And I do receive my 90Minds account information in Outlook. However, since it is mainly emails regarding so and so just posted a must read note on social cast, I don't look at it as Socialcast is open most of the day in Explorer. The 90Minds account is not on my radar.... Just like the 1,000's of FB and LinkedIn messages received on a daily basis..........

    Agreed.

Michelle agreed to the $150 fee for the non-90 Minds member substitution. We are now at ($1,604.30) if we get no more registrations and cost estimates hold true.

And there's the order from David.

  • 26.  RE: Sage Summit Event: @ThereseLogeais do you want

Sorry, I updated the wrong fields - we are at ($1,754.50) even after David's registration. What can I say? It was a long weekend and I am down about a pint of blood stolen by a swarm of mosquitoes.

Well, we are close to breaking even...... @JimWoodhead , can you trim the food budget??? Have them put fewer chips in the chocolate chip cookies? Only supply two sodas during the PM break?

    Posted 07-07-2014 15:18
If you take out the Eventbrite fee for the $150 invoiced to SWK directly, we are now at an even -$1,750.

  • 29.  RE: Sage Summit Event: @ThereseLogeais do you want

    Posted 07-07-2014 15:48
Sorry. I am not following the math. 1754 less 150 is about 1600........

  • 30.  RE: Sage Summit Event: @ThereseLogeais do you want

    Posted 07-07-2014 17:48
No, only the Eventbrite fee of 3%: $150*.03=$4.50 which agrees with our Eventbrite payout. This much I DID get right.

Not much to trim unfortunately we where pretty tight. I may be a little underbudget. But I don't think we should skimp here.
