Sage Summit 2013 -- please join our 90 Minds Google+ Community so that I can invite you to the Sage Summit group for when the conference gets going. I'll be using that area more heavily since it also allows for group hangouts (for those interested) and won't result in a lot of Socialcast clutter. You will be joining our main ""90 Minds All"" community on Google Plus. Once I've identified everything with a profile on G+ then I will send invitations for the Sage Summit 2013 community. This is --- I think --- the best way to make sure I get everyone on board.

Is this in place of GroupMe or something else?

This will replace Groupme - sorry for the change. I think it will be easier for us to communicate with the main benefit being that we can separate out topics rather than one big ongoing chat and we can use hangouts for group chat which support both computer and mobile. Arguably Groupme can do most of this as well but I think Google+ is a better long term solution for us.
