Sage is the only company I know who could acquire a company in the only sector of the economy that's healthy (other than Chinese money funded government sector) and screw it up.

A SAS acquisition is a likely possibility.

Typo - SAAS. However, any acquisition in the N.A. will be carefully vetted. The N.A. market has been a drag on Sage and I 'm not holding my breath for anything soon on this side of the pond.

I predict that all large acquisitions will be led by Sage UK. I think Sage North America lost their independence with the start of Sue Swenson. We just didn't know it until Sue retired and Pascal was sent over from Sage France. I'd be surprised if there are any large acquisitions that aren't global -- for example if they buy a SaaS provider (highly likely) I would bet that the product would have to service all the countries -- or at least be made to look like it could. There's a low likelihood that Sage will buy , for example, a SaaS product for US, Spain, UK, France, etc... Perhaps ERP X3 is suppose to be that SaaS product but I'm not sure that it can be.
