Sage Std v2019 PU4. Workstation synchronization won't finish - just disappears. Rerun and it's back. Found an issue on Sage's web site re default program for VBS scripts being Notepad, but fix did not help.  Anyone see this?   This similar message was posted by Beth in 2016 and Moira responded that she checked other file associations and then it worked.  What other file associations?

FYI, this is on a Win 7 machine that was already running v2018, which has been uninstalled today when we upgrade.

    Any thoughts?

Yes, it was run as admin.  UAC is off and using the domain admin account and looks like user has all rights.  Originally we had a message that the user couldn't run scripts, but Google helped me fix that in RegEdit.  Scripts run now.

Anti-Virus?? Try deleting anything Sage from the PC via File Explorer, reboot, turn of AV and re-run the workstation install.

    Robert,

I had a very similar issue and I think the customer wound up having to turn on UAC, accept the "do you want to make a change" and allow the workstation synch to complete. Then from what I know, they turned UAC back off.

I'm not saying this is your fix but you might try temporarily turning UAC back ON just to see if you get a prompt which allows you to answer "Y" and then have that sync finish.

This only happened on one computer out of about 1/2 dozen at the customer's site.

We had one of these cases and the customer's cylance was blocking all VBS from running.

This morning, the user is able to log in successfully, so I'm going to guess it was Wayne's suggestion of UAC turned ON.  I had IT disable UAC but still 'run as administrator' when they were doing the workstation installs on the weekend.  This morning before I had a chance to connect with the user when she was logged in on her own account, she had already logged in successfully.

    Thank you for your ideas!
