Sage Sessions 2018 - Los Angeles - registration is now live. The cost will be $29 if paid up to a week before the sessions, with a fee of $49 after that. There are 5 breakout timeslots listed. I suspect that each of those time periods will have multiple breakouts. Each session is about an hour. No listing of exhibitors or mention of any type of trade show. I believe if there is a trade show it will likely be primarily endorsed Sage partner solutions. Sage earlier this month left the door open for Sage Summit to make a return in 2019. I think they will probably evaluate how these sessions go before deciding. In advertising for an Events Program Strategy Manager, Sage offers this requirement "" Lead development of the regional event strategy in association with the regional marketing lead and regional marketing teams. Working collaboratively, develop the strategy to replace non-revenue generating 3rd party programs with Sage hosted events delivering a minimum of 3X ROI."". The room price is $320. Which is only $9 cheaper than what Westin Bonaventure hotel website was displaying when I checked. I confirmed through Sage that there was no cheaper negotiated rate. There doesn't appear to be a lot of less expensive options although grabbing a hotel outside LA and taking an UBER to and from the Bonaventure would be one possibility that probably would save you 50% or more. The Westin website indicates that for their $329 rate you can cancel up until 2/10/18. So if you're thinking about it - might not be a bad idea to reserve the room which you can always cancel. The event is only $29 to register and you can get that rate up until 10 days before and only rises to $49 after.
