  • 1.  Sage - Salesforce partnership. What is it?

    Any insight why Sage is possibly promoting this?  Sage says for those of us visiting the Salesforce event in NYC, stop by the booth to find out why Sage is a premier partner.

    There was the failed Sage Live initiative, other than that I'm not familiar with any Sage - Salesforce collaborations. Anyone?

    Just two guesses

    I did pick up that Sage hosted some Salesforce people maybe 30 days ago. It came across on the Sage Twitter feed. 

    Sage appears to have abandoned at least parts of Salesforce in favor of Microsoft Teams

    It looks like Sage is back as a Gold sponsor too

    Sage as ISV. For companies who run their business using Salesforce, but also need accounting, but they've outgrown Quickbooks.

    Is it possible this is all part of some contractual commitment during the Sage Live push? Possibly Sage secured free presence at SFDC conferences for xx years in exchange for all the press and the marketing around building an ERP on the Salesforce platform.
