Sage releases trading update for the 3 months ended December 31, 2014. Group organic revenue is 5.85 (the magic number they've promised analysts is 6%).
Other than that North America Sage Payments appears to be a problem. While Sage have not gone into great depth on the issue it may relate to a loss of one or more key strategic partners. Also Sage quietly changed SPS management last year when Greg Hammermaster departed for First Data Corporation.
Up until about a year ago Sage had been unusually confident about SPS growth prospects.
Key takeaway on these financials is the importance of Sage making their 6% organic revenue growth. This is going to happen come hell or high water. I believe that organic is defined as products that are considered strategic and doesn't include any that are held for disposition / non-core. I would no rule out a product or two being shifted to non-core if the Sage spreadsheet would benefit.
