Sage publishes CIP Partner Recruitment Efforts document -- aka referral of a services lead to a CIP. Interesting because it appears to pre-suppose that there is not a authorized reseller in the relationship as ROR. As best I can gather this document outlines the referral agreement that Sage may have when someone purchases direct from Sage (aka house account).

They will use this to snag all the orphan accounts and start taking all margins on Sage sold accounts. They already have inside sales for CRM, X3, and the connected services.

If anyone really needs help with CRM or X3, I would encourage you to talk with a friendly partner rather than leaning on Sage resources. I'm more than happy to help out with CRM and Jeff Roth at SWK did an awesome prezzo on X3 and I know his team is on the leaderboards regularly for X3 and works with partners. Others might as well, I'm simply more aware of SWK's partnering plans. Partners working with partners will help slow down the Sage direct sales model and encroachment on partner-client relationships.
