Did I miss something?  I was asked by a customer to get prices for Sage Payroll.  Didn't unlimited employees used to be like $1,200 a year?  Unlimited employees is now more than $5K.   Just a tad more of an increase than the annual CPI.

You're remembering the price for customers who had payroll previously. The never had payroll price has always been considerably higher.

Hi Doug - I think the unlimited employees in Payroll for $1200 was only for existing customers who already had Payroll and were just upgrading from Perpetual to Subscription.  And even now, I think the move for Payroll from Perpetual to Subscription is more than $1200.  But adding Payroll to an existing customer, or purchasing as part of a new sale?  It costs a lot more!

Thanks @Sue Bennett and @Eric Lunceford !  This makes sense now.  I haven't sold a new payroll in a while.
