Sage 100

Sage Payroll IRD for 2018 tax tables says it only works for Sage 100 version 2017, 2016, 2015. Since those versions are the ""old"" payroll, why wouldn't it work for 2014,2013, etc. ??

I installed it yesterday on v2013. Didn't blow up on the install. Fingers crossed.

Don't have that answer, but I haven't installed an IRD yet this year as there really is nothing in it except 1-2 things my customers haven't needed. I did a 2014 W2 yesterday and Aatrix updated just fine with the Auto Update. Update: Sorry, you were talking Tax Tables, I saw IRD.

We have installed the TTU for versions 5.0 and up and it's been working fine.

After installing, have you/they run their first payroll with the changes?

I haven't had a problem installing it on 2013 - 2017. I haven't tried it on anything older. After you install just go look at the Federal Tax Tables to confirm.

Typically you're able to install the TTU on at least some older versions, which is still the case. The IRD however, prevents you from installing the IRD if you're running a version below v2015.

I believe a couple have run thru a payroll. Post installation we always check the tax table maintenance, the installed applications listing, FED and applicable States and the changes are correct. We could not install the IRD's to the best of my knowledge, but TTU are working fine.

At first I thought @BrettZimmerman was saying the IRD had programming that blocked the TTU from installing on older versions. I would not be surprised if Sage invested in ""enhancements"" like this.

Yes, I've been surprised that they haven't incorporated the versions limitation on the TTU, but let's try to keep that quiet :). I updated my above post just to clarify my statement, thx.

I've tried on 2014 - Tax tables OK. PR ran fine AFAIK.
