Sage Payment Solutions Rumor that Clay Hosterman, Director of Business Development, was fired on Friday. Definitely looking like a precursor to being acquired.

Tom Nunci the director of Sales for SPS who is coming to MOTM hopefully will have all the info. But honestly even if its a sales, my guess is the relationship may not change much out of the gate.

@JohnHoyt how confident is your rumor?

I am fairly confident, because it was an SPS insider. We have never had a Sage rumor that didn't turn out to be true, as far as I know.

Explains the high level of interest from CC processors in MOTM Sponsorships this year. They're circling.

The issue I have with the credit card processing is it's more efficient for us to have consistent go to providers. Having 1 alternative such as APS is fine, but now customers are bombarded with multiple providers we have never heard of, and they all claim they integrate with Sage 100.

Yes, one offs certainly increase the drag on our lives.

What we need is integration to the authorize.net vault (or any other processor-independent gateway) so that the customers can use their own processors. I think there would be lots of people who would pay a reasonable module price to not have to switch their processor.

@PhilMcIntosh I think one of CC processors attending MOTM told me that they have that capability. I'll check and see which one it was.
