Sage Payment Solutions Rebranded? Is this a valid e-mail blast? Didn't Sage sell Payment Solutions? This makes it sound like Sage still owns it but just changed the name. If Sage was just changing the name it should have ended in ""Cloud""!!

Yes its valid. We met with our Rep and VP of Sales last month, they mentioned the name change was coming.

Paya, really?

Better than Papaya I suppose.....

But why make it have the word PAY in it, but then note that it's pronounced Pie-Ya?

TL;DR: Good morning, when we bought Sage Payments we had a six month grace period to use the old name. That time is over and we are now Paya. Carry on.

These changes are not just names thought up during a kegger - at least I hope not. There must be some market research done, so they don't end up with a name like Sage Life and then have to change it to Sage Live. Seriously, 3 and 4 character names of companies and domain names are gold. That's why I stick with my name(s).

Short name to suit the attention span of millennials.
