Does anyone have any details / experience with this feature?

We have a customer asking (who already uses Paya), and before I throw them to the wolves (AKA: Sage Sales) I'd like to know if any 90 Minders can translate the marketing nonsense into real information?
Is this the click-to-pay portal we saw demonstrated at MOTM?
Does Sage / Paya charge for the service?
How does it really work?  Words like "easy", "instantly" and "no installation" cause me to be very, very wary.

    TIA for any insights.

You are correct in being very wary. Last when @Wayne Schulz and I looked into it, we came up pretty-much empty. No one at Sage could provide any info.  Seemed to be some sort of bait and switch, at least that's how I felt. The one thing in particular that caught my attention was the promise of being able to accept payments from anywhere and have them integrate with Sage 100. Absolutely no one could provide any info on how that works. I think there's a couple threads in 90 Minds.

I have a client setup and using this.  Overall, it works great.  I received most of the attached information from Kent Mackall, a Sage Engineer.  I have added some information.  Regarding my comment under Cash Receipts at the end of the word document, Kathy Newte is looking into a better, different solution, although not guaranteed.  For now I have recommended to my client to add 2 GL lines on the cash receipt to credit the bank account and debit the credit card clearing account.  If the customer is set up to receive an invoice via paperless office, the customer will receive the normal e-mail and an additional e-mail from Paya.  If there are important customizations to the invoice form, then this can be beneficial, otherwise take the customer off of e-mailing.  I will be recommending the eInvoicing to my clients.

Also, it is very easy to setup once you have the correct credentials.

A colleague called Sage support and confirmed there is no additional cost to use Payment Center.  Apparently there may be more info available after you have access... brilliant planning.  Some KB articles:
    Payment Center - Dashboard Features
    What is Payment Center?
    Payment Center contact information
The first link indicates data cannot write back to Sage 100.
Reading between the lines: it's more of a reporting / dashboard tool vs. something functional.

    Michelle / Wayne,
Thanks for the replies... eInvoicing / click-to-pay is something else.

The 1st link is if a payment is processed directly in PAYA.  With e-invoicing the payments do come into cash receipts.

    Thanks Michelle.
If the Sage Payment Center is just a link to Paya Connect / the Paya portal, OK.  Dashboard / ability to work with batches... useful tools, certainly.
If the functional online payment features are stand-alone with no integration points, then that should be clearly stated, by Sage, in their documentation.  I'm not sure anyone running Sage 100 will want to create an external invoice in Paya, just to have to re-enter things in Sage 100.

This sounds very similar to APS ClickToPay which has been around for a while. I have a customer  I put on that solution perhaps 3-5 years ago and the initial setup was around 30 minutes. I've heard from them about this particular integration maybe twice in that time. The customer is not sophisticated at all and was attracted to the solution because they did a lot of governmental work and the various departments were forever calling on the due day to pay invoices by credit card. This way the user can pay the invoices themselves without having to call.

I think ASI did the integration and there were a couple of things  I worked with them on at the outset but since then it's been smooth sailing.

    Here's the APS Payments manual.

At the time that my customer was looking Sage and/or Paya either didn't have a solution or getting information from them was difficult/impossible.
