    Sage Partner Day December 11, 2013 in Irvine Cancelled - Emailed to find out why - here's the response: The Irvine partner day was cancelled based on feedback we've gotten from other partner days, where it was felt that the current agenda is too repetitive with what's covered during the customer day. We want to make these session as valuable as possible to the partners who attend. Since there unfortunately isn't enough lead time to develop a new agenda and secure speakers for December, we are looking at possibly rescheduling in Irvine for early 2014 (just a partner day).

    Based on that reasoning, the other Partner Days should fall too.

    Agree but according to a LinkedIn bit, the other vendors thought it a great success....

    Last year's partner day in Atlanta as actually useful. The two people who ran it are no longer with Sage though...

    Who provided the feedback? Sage misses the point about these types of events. Although the content is important and we welcome updates, it is as much about the face to face meeting of Sage with the channel. Perhaps Sage is afraid of us.

    The failure in the past has been the customer days, where there are more partners and Sage employees than customers.

    The feedback @JohnHoyt was from Katherine McCarroll, Sr. Partner Programs Coordinator. Right, as I recall an event last December for customers & partners ran about 50% partners, 35% Sage, rest customers.

    Not sure but part of Sage's problem might be their lack of a VP overseeing their channels (btw they are advertising for one http://goo.gl/cmblWn ).

    I confirmed they are planning a full day partner day in mid-January, including ""all new content."" Woohoo!

    I posted a reply on SPEA LinkedIn regarding this cancellation and they brightly popped back ""but partners are welcome at the customer day""...sounds like attendance is low
