Sage Listens ... but does not speak. We have tried to make ourselves useful for the RV stop in Las Vegas. Even having talked with some Customer Experience team members at Summit, we did not (until today) hear from anyone about the stop that is scheduled for this Saturday. Don Jones, VP, Business Operations - Customer Experience at Sage, called to say that attendance isn't what they had expected it to be. Really?

It is ... odd ... that they don't try to coordinate better with the partners. They actually met with one of my prospects in Boston and I think they scared them off. The prospect hasn't returned my calls since then. Good times.

Now I am actively trying to convince them to eat lunch at a tavern owned by a Sage 100/Sage Abra Suite customer. Locally owned, by the way ... where have I heard that before?

SAP has an interesting policy that they will give SAP customers first dibs on opportunities as a vendor.

We do the same. My beer (or many of them)? Brewed by our customer. Our signs? Manufactured by our customer. Company dinner? From a customer.
