Looks like some of the Sage KB may be inaccessible currently, which I assume is related to the new KB rollout.  I did locate this new Downloads link/page in case anyone is looking.

The new Sage Knowledgebase has gone live.
New articles will be available at
    http://sagekb.com or https://us-kb.sage.com/portal/ss/

I believe older URLS ( bookmarks ) to KB content may become invalid although I think Sage is keeping the older/prior URLs for DOWNLOADS.

    Observation:

For the new KB - Supported Platform Matrices (SPM) for Sage 100; System requirements and specifications

You can now directly link to the proper document for the edition and version of Sage 100.

    202_20230425122041_SPM for Sage 100 Standard 2022.pdf

Previously in the prior KB Sage used some type of script which disallowed linking directly to a specific SPM. Which means you'd have to send a customer's IT department a link to the overall SPM page and trust that they'd remember and download the correct edition/version

Sage may still  be updating the KB - at least existing articles - since Sage 100 2023 does not appear on the new  SPM KB.

    Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

The KB still seems a little off.

If I login via partners.sagenorthamerica.com and select the KB then search with no keyword then sort results by newest I get what seems to be less results than if I go to https://us-kb.sage.com/portal/ss/?tabid=3&searchaliases=custom_us_onehundred and do a similar search and sort by newest.

I think the more current KB is now https://us-kb.sage.com/portal/ss/

Can you give an example of a search that produces different results?

Sure, normally I access the KB via this link. If you do it differently then stop reading here as this may not apply to you.

    1. Login https://partners.sagenorthamerica.com/irj/portal/
    2. Click Knowledgebase
    3. Select "Sage 100"

I believe the issue is that Sage now essentially has two KB.

The one accessed from the partners.sagenorthamerica.com will allow you to search for downloads - though it also appears to return regular KB articles that do NOT have downloads or are not download-specific articles ( ie - download Sage 100 vxxxx )

The other KB - which I believe is the "new" or refreshed KB accessible via:

    http://sagekb.com or https://us-kb.sage.com/portal/ss/

Appear to be the place to search for updated articles ( I don't know if the download articles which appear in this new KB are going to be updated ).

I am admittedly confused by this and when I followed up with Sage they didn't seem to be much clearer on what the purpose of having two separate KB was.

Sage does have two different options for access their KB - one which appears to search only downloads and the other searching support articles. It's VERY easy to overlook this and it looks like in the future I'll now be searching to KB to be sure I haven't missed anything.

Something's messed up.  When you click on the "take me to the new KB" which re-directs to Sagekb.com the "Search for Downloads" screen appears.

Just a heads up that if you're working on an upgrade that's going to require you to download the latest Sage release please leave yourself plenty of time. I'm getting

Trying to navigate to the Sage 100 Downloads == > Download Sage 100 2023 when I start at what's supposedly the Sage download portal.

As of yet I have not tried any of the other similar looking yet apparently differently functioning(?) Sage knowledgebases. Your mileage may vary this is only a test. In the event of an actual emergency this message would be followed with clear instructions...

P.S. - I get this message on both my office PC and the customers RDP connection so I don't believe it's a "clear cache" issue

This URL - as of 7/11/23 - does appear to be functioning for access to the Sage KB. The links that I've traditionally used from within the partner portal seem like they are either old or partially working ( for me ).

Whoa, I think I have a cookie problem.  That link took me to a support page re tls in SQL, which is a link I had just accessed from outside the KB.

If it's not one thing, it's forty-million others.

That has been broken for years.  Follow a KB link without being logged in, then the next time you open the KB, that article replaces the search page.

Looks like searching by Solution ID only works if you include 2229245500, e.g. 222924550020855 – as so far it appears all Solution ID's are preceded with 2229245500.

Also, unfortunately it appears they took away the option to subscribe to a KB and provide feedback on a KB.

But I do like how you can now successfully right-click 'Open link in new tab' on an article in the KB search results.  Previously it just opened a blank tab.

Here's an example of what seems like a missing KB article. I was searching this based on something another member just ran into on an upgrade.

In the old KB ( now known as Download KB ):

Sage 100 Premium 2021 or later error converting AP_Checkhistoryheader "duplicate key"

When I try to search the new KB - https://us-kb.sage.com/portal/ss/

I don't find the article which is odd because it's fairly recently written.

Am I overlooking something? I'm still trying to get my arms around these two KB and overcome my fear that somehow Sage is going one day zap the old KB along with articles which may not have made it to the new KB.

Agreed, for some reason it appears not all KB's made it [yet] to the new KB.  WTH?!?!
