  • 1.  Sage is shaving trouble counting... users that is.

    One of our customers has 6 licensed users according to their company record on the partner portal.  The Registration Keys that are on the partner portal are the ones entered in their system.  However, for some reason the system will give them the "5 user limit exceeded" when the 6th person tries to log in.  Furthermore, when you print the System Configuration Report the system shows 7 total users but the available users will always be 5 - X where X is the current number of users logged in and visible on the Master Console.

    Any ideas what could be eating up those other user licenses?

    Premium / Advanced on a terminal server? 

    If so, re-copy the activate.pvx file to the terminal server's workstation folder.

    Thank you for the assistance.  The system is a hosted application running Sage 100 Standard.  I recreated the $ACTPVX.BAT then ran it from the HOME directory.  That changed the imbedded Sage 100 System Information to conform with the proper number of licenses.  Now *info and the Configuration Report are in sync.
